Five bills will be debated when the St. Kitts and Nevis National Assembly meets on Tuesday of next week.
The Noise Abatement Bill, 2009, The Licences on Businesses and Occupations (Amendment) Bill, 2009 and the St. Kitts and Nevis Racing Commission Bill, 2009 will be introduced and given all three readings, while the Saint Christopher Tourism Authority (Licensing of Vendors) Bill, 2008 and the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (Saint Christopher and Nevis) (Amendment) Bill, 2008 introduced and given their first reading at a November session will also be debated.
The Noise Abatement Bill stands in the name of the Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas and The Licences on Businesses and Occupations (Amendment) Bill, 2009 and the St. Kitts and Nevis Racing Commission Bill, 2009 are in the name of Minister of Finance and Minister of International Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs, Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris.
Attorney General and Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, Hon. Dennis Merchant will move the Second Treading of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (Saint Christopher and Nevis) (Amendment) Bill, 2008.
The second reading of the Saint Christopher Tourism Authority (Licensing of Vendors) Bill, 2008 will presented by Minister of State in the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture, Sen. the Hon. Richard Skerritt.
The National Assembly meeting begins at 11:00 A.M.
