Nevis Premier – Joseph Parry
June 18, 2011
“The date for the next Local Election in Nevis will be announced soon,” so says Premier of Nevis, the Hon. Joseph Parry.
“The election date will be called shortly ““are you ready?” The Hon. Joseph Parry asked a massive crowd at Brino’s shop in Gingerland on the platform of the Nevis Reformation Party’s (NRP) public meeting Wednesday night.
“You will be hearing ringing soon,” said the Premier, as he held a clear case with the bell wrapped in green paper and a green bottle (the NRP ballot symbol) beside it.
The night saw the appearance of all the NRP candidates who each made statements to cheering crowds of their supporters.
However, one of the biggest hits of the night was the Attorney General of St. Kitts-Nevis and candidate for the constituency of St. James, Hon. Patrice Nisbett, who told the crowd, “there is a new mathematics in Nevis, 5 years of NRP is greater than 14 years of the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM)!”
The next public meeting of the NRP will take place on Saturday, 18th June 2011 in Charlestown at the D.R. Walwyn Plaza, directly in front of the new party headquarters on Main Street at 8:00 pm.
