Nevis, West Indies – February 09, 2007
The Nevis Public Library Service celebrates Black History Month with two featured presentations. The first is an Exhibition at both the Charlestown and Gingerland Libraries. This exhibition will feature the late Hon. Louise Bennett-Coverley, O.M., M.B.E., Dip R.A.D.A., D.Litt., a Jamaican folklorist, poet and actress. The exhibition will be mounted from Monday February 12 – Wednesday, February 21, 2007.
The second will be a Cultural Presentation – Hon. Louise Bennett-Coverley in Retrospect and this will take place at the Nevis Cultural Centre on Saturday February 17, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. The General Public is invited to attend.
