“The transformation that we expect cannot be completed without the full participation of our own local residents and citizens who are investing here as well as those founders and also the property owners, who so far have encouraged this development in moving forward,” he said.
Prime Minister Douglas told invited guests several of them homeowners, investors and founders they are not just making a simple investment for themselves for their future, but also contributing to the economic and social development of St. Kitts and Nevis by impacting the lives of the people and moving the nation forward.
Pointing to the current turbulent global economic and financial times, Prime Minister Douglas said St. Kitts and Nevis continues to prepare investors and its citizens for the easing of the present situation.
“When that happens we would be ready and more than welcoming to the rest of the world. We want to instill confidence in you our prospective investors and so this property being open 11 months after it started and with the natural beauty that has been enhanced here, we are asking you to recognize the confidence that is absolutely necessary from this property in moving not only your investment forward, but the future development of an entire nation forward,” said Prime Minister Douglas.
He thanked those who have shown confidence his Government and the people of St. Kitts and Nevis.
